Pulseway Adds Redmond Channel Partner to Growing Award Roster

 Tuesday 18 April, 2017

The Pulseway RMM last year won a critical award for IT professionals when we scooped up PCMag’s Best Infrastructure Service Award for both 2015 and 2016.

More recently Pulseway added a channel focuses award when we picked up the Redmond Channel Partner Editors’ Choice Award for best Mobile RMM Product of 2017 for Pulseway MSP.

This award is for products that offer great value to Microsoft solutions providers.

"In this second-annual listing, Redmond Channel Partner editors scanned the field for those products, services and programs that present the greatest opportunities for Microsoft channel partners," said Scott Bekker, editor in chief of Redmond Channel Partner. "Out of the hundreds of products released in the last year that build on the Microsoft stack, these are the ones that make Microsoft-based solutions faster, more secure, more useful and more specialized."

Pulseway Award 2017

Pulseway appreciates the recognition. “We are excited to have won this award.” Said Marius Mihalec, CEO and Founder of Pulseway. “It means even more knowing that the public and our customers have voted for us. This is what we try to achieve here at Pulseway, to build a product that our users can be proud of.”

The Pulseway product honored is Pulseway MSP, a special version of the solution aimed at solutions and service providers, and now includes professional services automation PSA functions, NOC abilities and antivirus protection.

Here is what Redmond Channel Partner had to say:

“Before ever making a formal push into the MSP market, the Dublin, Ireland-based Pulseway mobility-focused RMM product was already pretty popular among MSPs. About half of the company's 3,000 customers were MSPs, having been drawn to the product's affordable price and its baseline capabilities. Those included monitoring systems such as Windows and Linux servers, Windows and Mac desktops, or .NET and Java applications and sending alerts to administrators, who can drill into specifics and take many types of corrective actions remotely from a Web browser or native app on iOS, Android or Windows Phone,” the magazine said. “Then last August, the company released Pulseway MSP, its first dedicated MSP product. Some enhancements to the base product for the MSP edition include more scripting capabilities; the ability to provide customizable and white-labeled reports to customers; integration with Pulseway Business Management Software, which is a professional services automation package; and collaboration features.”

The IT Angle

On the IT side, PCMag took notice for the last two years with its Best Infrastructure Management Service award.

“Managing networks is simultaneously becoming simpler and more complex, with software-defined infrastructure making day-to-day management and deployments easier while seemingly endless cloud deployment targets and service opportunities are giving network managers more options (and headaches) than ever. What's needed is a single tool stack to manage today's cloud-enabled architectures easily and efficiently,” PCMag said. “Pulseway doesn't have it all figured out, but the product is well on its way towards providing such a solution, covering cloud-capable infrastructure management, application performance management (APM), and asset management all under one software roof. While it's capable in all of these categories, the package really excels at infrastructure management and managing your IT assets, and even has some muscle in the mobile device management (MDM) category.”

Pulseway also won a PCMag Editor’s Choice. Here is what that review had to say about the mobile nature of the RMM.

“Pulseway really shines when you use the mobile client. Actions for responding to most common requests are available from the mobile app on Android and iOS devices, including restart, log-out, and terminal actions on Mac OS and Unix-based platforms. You have the ability to fully remote in to Windows machines from your mobile device, a huge win for IT staff within companies who can more readily react to outages before they are noticed by those outside the department,” the web site said.
