Pulseway Announces Major Product Updates Including Raspberry Pi Support

 January 16, 2014

MMSOFT Design Ltd. today announced two major product updates to Pulseway, the easiest way to securely monitor and take action on any IT system remotely, from any smartphone or tablet. Originally launched in 2011, Pulseway is now trusted by over 3,600 IT departments and MSP's around the world.

Pulseway now supports the popular Raspberry Pi device, a low-cost Linux machine. In addition, Pulseway now has added functionality for VMWare systems, allowing users to manage virtual machines, and view running status, health state and heartbeat as well as starting, pausing and stopping virtual machines and hosts: http://www.pulseway.com/vmware

Along with the product updates, Pulseway is also announcing a new partnership with PagerDuty and ZenDesk integration. With PagerDuty, Pulseway users are now able to receive SMS notifications or phone calls for systems. With ZenDesk, users can now create tickets for each notification that fit specific criteria.

"Enterprise IT isn't typically seen as a business with lots of innovation, but we've worked very hard at Pulseway to provide an amazing product experience to our customers," said Marius Mihalec, Founder & CEO of Pulseway. "With these latest product additions, we're continuing our commitment to our customers to provide an unparalleled experience for IT administrators all over the world."

Among the over 200 enterprise customers include Dell, Siemens, Louis Vuitton, Northwestern University, Condé Nast, British Columbia Institute of Technology and others.

"I spent years trying to find the right systems monitoring tool. Most were too expensive or too complex to set up. Several years ago, I came across Pulseway and all my problems were solved in an affordable hosted solution," said Bobby Watt, Systems Administrator at Robert Half Technology, a leading provider of technology professionals.

Pulseway differentiates from its competitors in the space in a few key areas: the application is built mobile-first (and is available across all mobile platforms), it allows system administrators to monitor and take action on their systems, and offers a unique Cloud API for all users.

Monthly Pricing begins at $1.00 a system for the subscription tier, and $1.08 a system for the Enterprise version. Customers may also use a free version of Pulseway, which offers full functionality for up to five systems. For more information on pricing tiers, go to http://www.pulseway.com/pricing
