INTRO:
Google Ads help businesses target the right people at the right time and the right location. When you run a Google Ads campaign, you can have full control over your ad spending and measure the outcome of the campaigns whenever you want. By linking your Google Ads with Google Analytics, you can track various metrics like ad conversions, return on investment, keywords used, etc.
One of the major benefits of Google Ads is that it works much faster than organic search. You can gain immediate visibility from your target customers for your desired search terms. This is a great way for businesses to gain new customers or create brand awareness on a digital platform.
Google Ads also gives you the flexibility to control various things, right from when you want to run the ads, the keywords you wish to target, the purpose of running a campaign (customer acquisition or brand awareness), platforms where you want to show your ads, and more.
With a well-planned Google Ads campaign, you can reach your target customers in no time and get the desired returns on your ad spending.
How to Start Using
Running a Google Ads campaign starts with creating an Ads account. If you already have a Gmail account, the process is simpler. All you have to do is visit the Google Ads website (https://ads.google.com/home/) and sign in with your Gmail account (or sign up if you don’t have one). Once you have signed in, your account is ready for setting up your first Pay Per Click (PPC) ad campaign.
On the campaign page, you can set up your bid amount, overall budget, target location, type of ad, etc. While setting up a campaign, you need to have an ad copy and the list of keywords for which you want to show the ad. You may also set negative keywords for which you don’t want to rank.
Once you have set up everything, your ad campaign is ready to run. You can create multiple ads within the same campaign or set up multiple campaigns for different purposes. Google lets a user have as many as 10,000 ad campaigns within a single account and 20,000 ad groups within a single campaign.
You can try out different variations of your ads, track their conversions and keep learning as you go running more campaigns.
