Pulseway joins Rackspace Marketplace to provide remote monitoring and control from mobile devices

 August 26, 2014 - Dublin, Ireland

Pulseway today announced that it has joined the Marketplace for Rackspace®, (NYSE: RAX), the #1 managed cloud company, to offer SMB IT administrators a solution to monitor and control their IT systems from their smartphones or tablets. Pulseway's customers will be able to monitor everything in real time, be the first to know about any problems affecting their IT systems and run tasks to address the issue while they are on the go, anywhere, anytime. Pulseway's SaaS and Enterprise versions work with Rackspace infrastructure.

"We are very excited that Pulseway is now available through the Rackspace Marketplace" said Pulseway Founder and CEO, Marius Mihalec. "Trusted by over 1,600 IT departments and MSP's around the world, customers are seeing a reduction in costly downtime and support costs, while increasing IT admin productivity - giving them control while they are on the go, no matter where they are in the world".

The Rackspace Marketplace provides customers with access to an ecosystem of innovative products designed to offer technology solutions that customers can deploy on the Rackspace platform. Both the Pulseway SaaS and Enterprise options are available to Rackspace users. Rackspace customers qualify for an automatic 15% discount on their hosted Pulseway Enterprise Server. Pulseway SaaS includes monitoring up to 200 systems. Enterprise Server is a flexible and highly scalable IT monitoring and management solution that can be hosted on premises or in the Cloud. Designed for mid-sized and large IT Departments, the Enterprise Server makes it easier to monitor any critical systems and applications from the user's smartphone or tablet, regardless of their location using a single server license.

"Pulseway's monitoring and control application is an important addition to the Marketplace," said Stephen Salas, business development manager at Rackspace. "Helping enable IT administrators to control their systems including their cloud infrastructure from their mobile devices is an exciting prospect for our customers and can particularly help SMBs take further advantage of the business benefits of the Rackspace Cloud. We look forward to featuring Pulseway in the Marketplace to address this market opportunity."
